How can I extract the DTS-Track?
(back)

Extraction:

Permitted for unprotected works and property only!
Discernible at the encryption of DVDs or copy protection on Audio (DTS) CDs.

from DVD:
conversion to CD
For extraction of concert DVDs use IFO-Mode. Only extract the DTS Audio Stream and select "Demux". Activate "File Splitting = by Cell ID" (right click on the DTS-Stream). Now for every track a single DTS file gets created.

If you've got the VOBs on your HDD (splitted by Cell IDs), then use Vobrator or any other program that is cabable to extract the DTS-track.

If you're unlucky and have got one complete VOB, then:

-extract Ton sound using DGIndex (mirror)/Vobrator or similar program
-convert as described
-separate/cut the resulting DD-WAV/AC3-WAV or. DTS-WAV file in its individual tracks, for that:

start Chapter-X-Tractor, load corresponding IFO from DVD, in tab "Format" choose BeSplit
-edit BeSplit line and change "-type ac3" according to your type:

DD-WAV/AC3-WAV replace/alter to "-type wav"
DTS-WAV replace/alter to "-type dtswav"

-mit "Save" Kommandozeile speichern
-Kommandozeile ausführen

von CD: Use Exact Audio Copy
